The interior exudes a tropical island vibes
Upon entering the store, you’ll immediately notice surfboards, fins, and photos of waves. It gives you a feeling as if you’re in a paradise by the sea. The interior, renovated from a old residence, exudes a nostalgic atmosphere. As I looked around at the photos inside the store, I came across pictures of Australia… I spent about two years in Australia myself, so I felt a sense of familiarity and nostalgia as if I had returned to Australia. The staff working at the store also seem to be enjoying themselves, which adds to the happy atmosphere. With counter seats, sofa seats, and table seats available, you can choose your seating based on the number of people and your preferences, making it very comfortable to spend time here. Since it gets crowded on weekends, I recommend visiting on weekdays if you want to relax and take your time.
Tangy iced coffee
Here’s my personal opinion, but I think GOOD DAY COFFEE serves one of the most delicious coffee in the prefecture among cafes in Okinawa.
It has a refreshing acidity that’s almost reminiscent of lemon tea, and the aroma of coffee lingers afterward. If you’re a fan of tangy coffee, I highly recommend trying their iced coffee.
they use coffee beans from Byron Bay, Australia. I used to visit Byron Bay frequently myself, and I feel a deep connection between the surfing and coffee culture there and GOOD DAY COFFEE.
Perfect for early birds
The operating hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.,
For early risers like myself, being able to start the day at 6:00 a.m. is truly a blessing. I often go out for breakfast, and the dishes here using avocado and the French toast are exceptional, so I highly recommend trying them out.
It can get crowded during weekend lunch hours, so waking up a bit early and spending a leisurely time at GOOD DAY COFFEE is also a great idea.
